Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructors teaching in the English department.

Candidates should have experience teaching first-year composition courses at the college level and be familiar with current writing theory and practice.  They should have a demonstrated interest and ability in the use of alternative and innovative teaching methods and familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.

Requirements:

A Master's degree is in English or in rhetoric or composition of a closely related field is required.

Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.

Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.

Additional Information:
